The city announced today that Bullock & Cooper, P.C. has been named the 2011 Virginia Beach African American Business of the Year. The award, presented at the Virginia Black Expo State of the African American Business Awards Breakfast, honors companies in the region that are involved in the community and have shown civic leadership.
The company, started in 2004 by twin sisters Tanya Bullock and Wanda Cooper, works mainly in the areas of criminal law, traffic matters, personal injury, creditor’s rights and corporate law. The firm employs seven people and serves a diverse client base of individuals and companies of all sizes from its Cleveland Street offices.
