(Virginia Beach, VA) – Significant renovations will take place at Red Wing Park (located at 1398 General Booth Blvd) which includes the replacement of the park office building which also houses storage and public restrooms; renovation and expansion of the west parking lot, a new park entrance sign, reconfigured access and exit to General Booth Blvd, and the addition of a water fountain to the dog park. Construction is scheduled to begin the week of May 19, 2014.
The park will remain open for public use during the renovations; however, there will be periods of time during construction when certain areas will be closed for construction and public safety. Vehicular access may also be delayed.
