Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation is accepting applications for food vendors interested in participating in the department’s 2014 Special Events season which runs from spring through fall and spans across various park and recreation center locations.
Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Special Events are free and open to the public. They are presented as an enjoyable, family-friendly experience with various activities and attractions. Some events include Cherry Blossom Festival at Red Wing Park; Movie Nights, Earth Day Celebration, K-9 Karnival and American Indian Pow Wow all at Mount Trashmore Park; and the annual arts and crafts festival, Artisans in the Park at Great Neck Park.
