Virginia Beach Project Homeless Connect Scheduled for Jan. 31
Event Offers Resources and Services for Families and Individuals Experiencing Homelessness

Families and individuals experiencing homelessness will be able to access a variety of supportive services and resources during Project Homeless Connect on Friday, Jan. 31, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, 212 19th St.
Project Homeless Connect will feature one-stop access to services and resources designed to assist persons in moving closer to ending their homelessness. These include employment agencies, Social Security assistance, social services, veterans’ services and other related resources. Participants may also receive donated services from local businesses and organizations, such as medical screenings and haircuts. Hygiene kits donated by faith-based organizations and the community will also be distributed.
Project Homeless Connect is sponsored by the City of Virginia Beach; BEACH, a community partnership of city, nonprofit and faith-based organizations; and Optima Health.
