The Friends of Virginia Beach Historic Houses will host its 28th Annual Christmas Craft Faire on Friday, Nov. 1, Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3 at the Francis Land House, located at 3131 Virginia Beach Boulevard, midway between Rosemont Road and Lynnhaven Parkway.
Hours for the show are noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2; and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3.
The event provides an opportunity to get a jump on the holiday shopping season with nearly two dozen crafters offering unique handmade crafts and gift items. Admission is $2 per person and the Friends will run a half-price coupon in the Oct. 27 and 31 Beacon supplement.
The Friends’ Christmas Craft Faire also features second hand items in its “Treasures II” room, a variety of scrumptious baked goods, the best Brunswick stew in town, ham biscuits, musical entertainment from members of the Itinerant Band, door prizes and more. All proceeds from the event go to benefit the Virginia Beach Historic Houses, which are the Adam Thoroughgood House, Francis Land House and Lynnhaven House.
