Teen athletes are encouraged to compete in Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation’s January sports challenges

Looking for a new way to test your athletic skills? Try one of Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation’s upcoming athletic activities for teens age 12 to 17.
- Football Blast: This competitive event involves various activities that will challenge your skills and abilities in the game of football. Please wear your favorite team’s football jersey! 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Williams Farm Recreation Center.
- Teen 3-on-3 Basketball Challenge: Compete in 3-on-3 games from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2013 at Great Neck Recreation Center.
- Teen Racquetball Challenge: Compete with other teens in this fast-paced game. 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Friday, January 25, 2013 at Great Neck Recreation Center.
There is no cost to participate, although a Virginia Beach Recreation Center membership or day pass is required. For more information or to register, simply contact the recreation center:
