Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation’s youth volleyball clinics are a great - and quick - way for youth to improve their volleyball games! These clinics offer the right balance of instruction, fun and friendly competition. And, they are easy on the wallet!
Youth ages 8 to 14 will enjoy the Skills Clinic for Beginner and Intermediate Players. Players will improve their passing, setting, hitting and digging skills while being taught proper form and technique. This clinic is $10 and is offered at Seatack Community Recreation Center, 141 S. Birdneck Road, three different times:
• 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Sunday, January 27, 2013
• 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 24, 2013
• 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 24, 2013.
Middle school volleyball players will tune their skills at the Tryout Prep Clinic. Skills, drills, and a variety of games will be led by Jason Seaford. This two-day clinic costs $20 and is conducted 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, January 26, 2013 and 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Bayside Community Recreation Center, located at 4500 First Court Road.
