Grand Jury Returns 78 Indictments: Man Indicted for Stabbing Death and Wounding of Two Others

Harvey L. Bryant, Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Virginia Beach, announced that a grand jury meeting in Virginia Beach Circuit Court today returned indictments against 68 individuals charging 170 separate offenses. Of those indicted today, approximately 20% were indicted for felony drug crimes.
Joshua Daniel Campbell, age 28, of the 1300 block of E. Balview Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia, was indicted for Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Malicious Wounding, and Malicious Wounding. Campbell is charged in connection with a stabbing at a party in the Way Point Apartments complex on May 6, 2012. Campbell remains in custody, and his next scheduled court appearance is November 13, 2012, for a motions hearing.
The grand jury also indicted seven (7) individuals for felony Driving Under the Influence. Those individuals are:
