BEACH, VA) – Late this morning, the Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Team
responded to a stranded Female Minke Whale (B.Acutorostrata ) near
the Damn Neck Naval base. The whale was deceased at the time it was
discovered. The whale measured 430.7cm.
