Resort Area Parking Strategy

The City of Virginia Beach Strategic Growth Area (SGA) Department, Resort Management Office, Parking Management Division is committed to professional parking management for the Resort Area, Sandbridge Beach and Town Center.

The Parking Management Division has been working to develop an ongoing Parking Strategy for the Resort Area and support the Resort Parking Committee, recently appointed by Council. In July 2012 City Council approved a "Resolution for Comprehensive Parking Strategy for the Oceanfront Resort Area." As a result of that resolution, the following key activities have occurred:
