MUNICIPAL CENTER RECYCLING DROP-OFF SITE RELOCATION 
On Tuesday, May 15, the Department of Public Works, Waste Management Division, will relocate its Municipal Center recycling drop-off site from the corner of George Mason Drive and James Madison Boulevard to West Neck Road between Nimmo Parkway and North Landing Road. The new location offers residents improved capacity and is available for use 24 hours a day.
Residents will be able to begin dropping off their recyclables a this new location beginning Monday, April 16. Both sites will be open for drop-offs for the next four weeks; the old site will close on May 15.
These sites are for the use of Virginia Beach residents only:
First Landing State Park - 2500 Shore Dr.

City Landfill - 1989 Jake Sears Rd. - Open Tuesday through Saturday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM
Princess Anne High School - 4400 Virginia Beach Blvd. - Behind school, at back NW corner of parking lot on tennis court side
