If you are installing additional plumbing fixtures in a residential dwelling, and you have city water and/or city sanitary sewer, additional fees are due to the Department of Public Utilities prior to obtaining a plumbing permit.
A fee of $92.00 per drainage fixture unit is due for city water, and a fee of $13.00 (or $59.00) per drainage fixture unit is due for city sanitary sewer. For further information concerning drainage fixture units you may contact one of our line fee representatives at (757) 385-4171.
