The Records Department is located in Building 11 at 2509 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456 and is open for operation Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Records Department is closed on city holidays. No permits are issued after 4 p.m. Cash and personal checks are accepted as payments. An ATM machine is located in the lobby for your convenience.
Forms are provided below to download and complete prior to arriving. It is very important to follow the instructions available with each form. Some applications require multiple copies. Please note: you will need to print the required number of copies individually. Where signatures are required, you must individually sign each copy or use carbon paper between the copies.
