In addition to or as part of the Comprehensive Plan, there are several area or corridor plans and studies that are used to guide and manage the future physical growth of specified areas in the City. There are also several development design guidelines. Some of these design guidelines apply to a specific area of the city, while others apply to a certain type of development, regardless of its location in the City.
Most of these plans, studies and design guidelines are "documents adopted by reference" by City Council as an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. As such, they are interpreted to be official City policy. Those documents adopted by City Council by reference as part of the Comprehensive Plan are indicated by an asterisk *.
