"Hello and welcome! I am your Team Representative. I have been a Parks and Rec employee 6 years part-time and 8 years full-time. As a part-timer I coached the Bayside Marlins for 4 years and as a full-timer I have been the Team rep for Bayside for 4 years and for Kempsville 4 years (counting this year). I swam competitively in high school for First Colonial, Go Patriots! I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science from Old Dominion University and a Master’s of Public Administration from Troy University. I am a Virginia Beach native and love soccer, swimming, surfing, and being outdoors in our city and state parks. My advice for our swimmers is to always bring a positive attitude to practice and meets; the mind is one of your most powerful muscles!"
