Meet Your Coaches:
Bill FordBill attended Frostburg State University where he received a BFA in Graphic Design/Painting and an MA in Art Education. He is the coach for Salem High School's Varsity Boys Swim Team and previously served as head coach for the Water Polo Club Team at Frostburg State University. Bill played four years of water polo in high school and four years at Frostburg State University. He served as team captain for a year on both teams. Bill currently plays for the Hampton Roads Water Polo Club. In addition to water polo, his hobbies include hiking, camping, drawing, painting, going to museums, running and swimming. His advice for league participants is, "Have fun, make new friends, and stay active!"
Josh WaltzJosh has a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise, Sport, and Health Education with a concentration in Sports Administration. He has been with the City of Virginia Beach for the past six years, during which he has taught lessons for five years and coached for two. Josh was the representative for the Great Neck Gators Swim Team this past winter. He is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is currently working on his Performance Enhancement Specialist Certification. Josh’s hobbies include being extremely active, competing and lifting heavy weights. His advice to players is, “Work hard to play hard, and have fun doing it!”
