Meet Your Coaches:
Bill attended Frostburg State University where he received a BFA in Graphic Design/Painting and an MA in Art Education. He coached for Salem High School's Varsity Boys Swim Team and previously served as head coach for the Water Polo Club Team at Frostburg State University. Bill played four years of water polo in high school and four years at Frostburg State University. He served as team captain for a year on both teams. Bill currently plays for the Hampton Roads Water Polo Club. In addition to water polo, his hobbies include hiking, camping, drawing, painting, going to museums, running and swimming. His advice for league participants is, "Push yourself and have fun!"
Josh has a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise, Sport, and Health Education with a concentration in Sports Administration. He has been with the City of Virginia Beach for the past seven years, during which he has taught lessons for six years and coached for three. Josh returned as the representative for the Great Neck Gators Swim Team this past winter. He is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Josh’s hobbies include being extremely active, competing and lifting heavy weights. His advice to players is, “Work hard to play hard, and have fun doing it!”Allison Mickunas
Allison attended Florida State University where she received a B.S. in International Affairs and Chinese Language and Culture. She also attended Valparaiso University and obtained her Masters of Arts in Chinese studies. She is currently attending ODU to obtain a Post Bach English as a second language Teaching Certification. Allison recently finished up her first season as coach with the Boys Varsity Swim Team at Salem High School. She will coach for the Princess Anne Country Club Breakers this summer. When Allison is not coaching, she enjoys swimming, surfing, reading, biking, playing water polo, Chinese calligraphy, and cheering for the Florida State Seminoles! Her advice for league participants is, “Work hard, play hard, and cheer for your teammates. Have fun!"
