Joshua Waltz
Josh is a native to Virginia Beach, Virginia. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise, Sport, and Heath Education from Radford University. This will be Josh’s first year as a swim league representative at Great Neck. He coached last season at Kempsville and has been a water safety instructor for five years. Josh started swimming when he was three, but started swimming competitively in high school. Josh started swimming with the Salem Woods Sharks. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, competing, and gaining certifications in fitness. Josh would like the swimmers to work hard to play hard.

Roberta Hudgins
Roby grew up in Naples, Italy and swam competitively in middle school and high school on a year round team. Roby competed at the national level in Italy and has two years experience as a water safety instructor instructor. Roby started swimming at the sporting club, San Gorgio in Italy. She enjoys spending time with her family, company and photography. Roby would like her team to stay focused, try hard and most importantly, have fun.

Travis Rider
Travis grew in Virginia Beach and is currently a Psychology major at Old Dominion University. He has coached with the Great Neck Gators for four years. He started his swimming career with the Princess Anne Piranhas in 2000. Travis enjoys swimming, gardening and cooking. His advice to new and old swimmers is, "Always listen to your coaches and try your best!"

Abby Lahey
Abby’s hometown is Virginia Beach. She is currently attending TCC and pursuing a degree in engineering. Abby has swum competitively her entire life and has played and helped coach other sports teams. She started swimming with the Princess Anne Piranhas. When Abby is away from the pool, she enjoys playing softball. Abby would like her swimmers to remember to have fun with swimming, because that’s what it’s really all about.
