Individuals and groups are invited to participate in the Recycled Float Parade during the
2013 Earth Day Celebration at Mount Trashmore Park on Saturday, April 20 at 12:30 pm. The parade begins at Shelter 3 and continues through the event area towards the park office.

• Floats must be comprised of repurposed or reused materials
• Participants must be able to sit in, ride on, push, pull, or peddle their float
• Floats may not be powered by engines of any type
• Participants may only compete in one division
Divisions
First and second place prizes will be awarded in the following divisions:
• Junior Recycler Division (age 12 & under)
• Recycler Division (age 13 & up)
• Team Recycler Division (all ages)
Judging
The overall winner of each division will be determined by a combination of the following judging criteria:
• Most Imaginative Design
• Best Use of Repurposed/Reused Materials
• Environmental Message
Prizes
1st place in each division: $100 Whole Foods gift card
2nd place in each division: $50 Whole Foods gift card
