Weddings are welcomed in designated parks and park facilities throughout the City of Virginia Beach. Wedding Permits are available by calling 385-0465.

General Rules
- An on-site planning meeting is required for all Wedding Permits.
- Decorations will be taped or tied. Nails, staples, and tacks are not permitted.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited at all Parks and Natural Area locations.
- Only bird seed is permitted to be thrown during the ceremony.
- Natural flower petals only. Synthetic flower petals are prohibited.
- All areas around wedding sites are open to the general public.
- Parking is limited and not guaranteed at all park locations.
- Please check in with Park office upon arrival.
- Candles, balloons, and confetti are prohibited.
Great Neck Gazebo
- Amplified sound and generators are prohibited
- Maximum capacity is 100 persons
- 30 chairs are available upon request
- Receptions are not permitted at the gazebo. Shelter reservations are available for this purpose.

Little Island Park
- Between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day, weddings are allowed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only from 5:00 pm until 1/2 before posted park closing.

- Parking is not guaranteed. All cars attending the wedding are subject to applicable parking fees.
