Great Neck Park

Pardon our construction! Repairs are underway for damaged sidewalks, the removal of older, small shelters, installation of two new shelters, new picnic tables and benches as well as re-roofing the existing large shelters. The park remains open to the public and repairs are expected to be completed in late March 2016, weather permitting.

Established in 1990, Great Neck Park is a 70-acre district park located along the banks of the Lynnhaven Bay. The gazebo and Lynnhaven Bay overlook are popular sites for weddings. You may also enjoy exploring the pathways through the wooded areas of the park.

The following items can be checked out of the park office with a driver's license or other form of photo identification: basketballs, corn hole boards and bags, footballs, frisbees, horseshoes, rubber playground balls, soccer balls, volleyballs and volleyball nets.
