Grade 1 - 6 |
Research has shown that being in nature has a positive impact on the mental and physical health of our children. We’ll spend time outdoors in our community, gaining confidence in being outside and exploring the wonders of nature. Learn the basics of outdoor recreation, the importance of environmental stewardship and gain hands-on knowledge of our local environment.
Age 3 - 6 |
Discover the differences in animal body coverings, identify insects and learn how trees each have unique leaves. Campers will use their investigative skills (and some of our tools!) to explore the world around them. Camp includes outdoor activities, nature crafts and animal encounters.
Grades 7 - 9 | Challenge yourself this summer! Experience healthy risk taking by climbing as high as 50 feet, while on belay! This course provides fun opportunities to enhance communication skills. Work together to accomplish the tasks and act as safety systems for one another. Your confidence will shine through as you meet each challenge.
