No school? Your child can spend the day at any of our community recreation centers in our programs that are designed to provide fun, constructive and supervised activities! A recreation center membership is needed.

April 9 - 13 | 7 am - 6 pm | $130
Age 5 - 12 • Don’t let your child get stuck channel surfing on the couch during Spring Break! Get over to one of our community recreation centers for our fun-filled Spring Break Camps! Your child will stay active and relieve school-related stress by participating in dynamic sports, lively games, indoor swimming, arts & crafts, exciting tournaments and awesome rock-wall climbing.
Safety Camp
Grade 3 • Your third grader will develop their ability to identify dangerous situations and apply proper safety precautions. Sessions include: antibullying, bicycle safety, drug education, emergency response, home and internet safety, violence prevention and water safety. Sessions will be led by local community experts, including police officers, water safety instructors and health professionals.
Great Neck Recreation Center and Great Neck Park | April 9 -13 | 9 am - 4 pm | $89
Skateboard Sessions
Age 6 & up • Skaters will learn the basics of park skateboarding including: safety, park etiquette, and bowl and ramp riding techniques. A skateboard and helmet are required, and knee and elbow pads are recommended.

Tennis Camp
Age 5 -17 • If your child is new to the game of tennis, Spring Break Tennis Camp is the perfect opportunity to learn basic strokes, general rules and proper tennis etiquette. Students are grouped according to experience and all campers end the week with a pizza party.
