No school? Your child can spend the day at our community recreation centers in programs that are designed to provide fun, constructive and supervised activities! A recreation center membership is needed.

Spring Break Camps
Don’t let your child get stuck channel surfing on the couch during Spring Break! Get over to one of our community recreation centers for our fun-filled Spring Break Camps! Your child will stay active and relieve school-related stress by participating in dynamic sports, lively games, indoor swimming, arts & crafts, exciting tournaments and awesome rock-wall climbing. Select sport camps held outside of the recreation centers are also available during Spring Break.
Recreation Center Camps
3rd Grade Safety Camp
3rd Grade Safety Camp is held at Great Neck Recreation Center and Great Neck Park. Youth learn to identify dangerous situations and recognize proper safety precautions so they'll know what to do when faced with potential danger.
Skateboard Sessions
Learn the basic of park skateboarding, safety, park etiquette, bowl and ramp riding techniques. Skateboard and helmet required. Knee and elbow pads recommended.
Learn all basic strokes, general rules of the game and proper tennis etiquette. The last day of camp includes a pizza party!
