We offer out-of-school time care for kindergartners age 4 - 6 in select elementary schools and recreation centers. Programs run concurrent with the Virginia Beach Public Schools operating calendar and all participants receive a Virginia Beach Recreation Center membership.
School-Based Kinderbuddies Programs (Grade K)
We have teamed up with several Virginia Beach Elementary Schools to provide out-of-school time care for kindergarten students during the school year…conveniently located within the school! We provide a warm and inviting environment as these children are embarking upon the next phase of their young lives. Our program takes a hands-on approach through activities that emphasize problem solving, creative thinking, and literacy skills. Any time registered participants are not in class, they may use our program. Parents can simply drop off and pick up participants right at the school. A snack is provided, but parents will need to supply lunch. Program operates exempt from licensure under State Code §63.2-1715.
