Genealogy Tools
We offer online resources such as Ancestry Library, Heritage Quest, Digital Sanborn Maps as well as organizational tools such as a Research Log and Family Group Records.

Hour with A Librarian
Need help getting started or moving past a road block in your research? Make a date with the Virginia Beach Public Library. We're available, by appointment only, to assist you with your more in-depth research needs. To make an appointment, please contact the Central Library at (757) 385-0150 during normal business hours.

Friday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
