The Financial Ratings Series provides accurate, independent information and ratings on more than 21,000 banks, insurance companies and credit unions. You'll also find investment ratings from TheStreet.com for more than 6,000 stocks and 16,000 mutual funds.
It's easy to use, too. Start by selecting a search tab: banks, credit unions, insurers, stock, mutual fund or medigap. Then enter the name or other search information into the boxes provided. On the results list, select your match. You'll find a "Weiss rating" and often a full report from either Weiss or The Street.
Not sure what the ratings mean? There's an education section to clear up any questions you have about Weiss ratings. Even better, there are free financial planning tools, too.

Financial Rating Series from home! All you need is a valid Virginia Beach Public Library card. When asked for your card number, type the prefix VBPL first, then your card number. No spaces in between.
