Decision 2012: Engage Yourself
Page Content

Are you ready to vote on Nov. 6? Find information about the issues of the day, elections and more, at your library.
What issues are most important to you? At your library you'll find information on all sides of today's issues to help you make informed decisions. Many are accessible online, including a variety of
newspapers and resources like
Opposing Viewpoints, which drills down into the details of thousands of topics. You'll just need your library card and PIN to access them from home.
There are also helpful, non-partisan websites, such as
Vote411.org (maintained by the League of Women Voters), where you can assess candidates side-by-side on the issues and determine who best represents your positions.
Decide for Yourself
Of course, it's important to get out and vote on Nov. 6, 2012. If you're note sure where to vote in Virginia Beach, visit the Voter Registrar's Office website for a
list of locations.
