Storytime classes are a fun and engaging way for children to build

early literacy and social skills, gain confidence, experience a growing sense of independence as well as develop a love of reading and books.
The classes are age-specific, based on
Every Child Ready to Read principles and designed to build the early literacy skills children must have in place in order to be able to learn to read. We accomplish this through rhymes, reading, fingerplays, age appropriate activities and our most important element - parent participation and education.
Our classes include:
Baby Rhyme Time (Ages 6 - 12 months with caregiver)
Bond with your infant in a face-to-face rhyme time. Build brains and early language skills through rhymes, repetition, music and baby sign. Children are introduced to quality board books and one-on-one book sharing. Call your library for enrollment information.
Onesies Rhyme Time (Ages 12 – 24 months with caregiver)
