Wireless access is available in all Virginia Beach Public libraries. Customers may use their own Wi-Fi enabled devices, including but not limited to laptops, smartphones or PDAs. Wireless devices must be 802.11 (A, B or G) compliant. Library staff will not be able to troubleshoot problems with customers' personal devices; power outlets may not always be available, and there is no guarantee that customers will be able to make a wireless connection. The Library's wireless network is not secure and there is currently no wireless printing available.
The Library assumes no responsibility for the safety of customers' equipment or for any damage that might occur to computer configurations or data files resulting from connection to the Library's wireless network.
