At the Central Library

Reservations
These areas are used frequently. We recommend that meeting room space is viewed in person prior to making your reservation. Meeting area reservations may be made in person, by mail, e-mail, fax, or telephone. Completion of a Meeting Area Reservation Form is required to confirm any booking request.
Applications may be obtained at the information/circulation desk at the Bayside, Great Neck, Kempsville, Oceanfront, Princess Anne Area, or Windsor Woods Area Libraries and in the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library Administrative Office during regular library hours. Confirmation of a reservation will be returned by mail, e-mail or fax.
Reservations may be made at any time within a six month period if space is available, but groups are urged to book space as early as possible. Booking begins the first working day of the month during April for the period July through December and the first working day of the month during October for the period January through June.
Audiovisual Equipment
The equipment available for public use varies with each library facility. Presentation equipment must be requested prior to the program date, preferably at the time of booking. The Library assumes that most groups have a member available who is familiar with the operation of a multi-media projector, VCR, DVD, slide projector or overhead projector, etc. The group will be responsible for any damages other than normal wear and tear (bulbs).
The Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library auditorium projection room is operated solely by library staff and no alterations to equipment setups may be made without express permission from the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library Administration Office. Please contact the specific
library location to discuss your audiovisual needs.
