Apply today!  Print and fill out a library card application form. Then, visit any Virginia
Beach Public Library. To be eligible for a library card you'll need to provide the following:

• proof of your current address
• valid photo identification

There are three types of library cards.  Apply for the card that fits your lifestyle:

Age Requirements
There is no age requirement for applying for a library card.  For applicants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign the library card application and return it to the library with proof of current address and picture identification.
