The Public Library Board is appointed by City Council, with not less than seven nor more 
than eleven members, including two members who are high school seniors. The members are appointed for terms of three years, except the student appointments, which are for two years.
The Board meets monthly on the 2nd Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m. There are no scheduled meetings in June, July or August. Meetings are held in the Board Room at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library.
