Pendleton Child Service Center recognizes the challenges many parents face in raising children in today’s society. Both children and parents can become overwhelmed by everyday situations and fall into patterns which do not serve the individual, family or community well.
Parenting Skills Training is a six-week positive parent education program designed to address some of the needs parents face today. The program covers such topics as parenting styles, learning styles, improving communication, anger management, behavior modification techniques, co-parenting and the parent-school relationship.
Registration is mandatory as space is limited. A minimal fee is charged and payment is due at the first session. Parents can call 757-385-4537 to enroll in upcoming programs.
