At Pendleton Child Service Center children between the ages of 5 to 12 and their families come to receive assistance with behavioral issues. Some of these issues might include: aggression, lying, stealing, severe temper tantrums, lack of social skills and poor academic achievement.
PCSC works through a cognitive-behavioral approach to help children develop the resources to make positive changes in their behaviors and sustain success. Through family therapy, parents, caregivers and family members are given the tools they need to help support the child’s ongoing growth and success.
To begin services a parent must complete a PCSC referral packet and return the completed packet to the center. Parents may print off the form and mail or fax it to the Center, or may send it via e-mail.
