The Facade Program provides a 20-year 1% interest deferred loan (1% Annual Percentage Rate (APR)) for the correction of exterior code violations in order to improve the physical quality of the neighborhood, and the long term value and affordability of the dwelling

for the homeowner.
This program provides assistance for the rehabilitation of the property; it does not allow for remodeling. Assistance is provided one time only.
Funds are

available to residents of Virginia Beach whose household's total gross annual income does not exceed eighty percent (80%) of the area median income, adjusted for family size, as established by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).
