Chief Taylor received his Associates Degree in Fire Science from Tidewater Community College and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management (minor in Leadership) from the University of Richmond.
Battalion Chief Tracy L. Freeman has served with the Virginia Beach Fire Department for over 25 years and is currently assigned to the Special Operations Division. He serves as the Team Leader and Program Manager for the Virginia Beach Fire Department Marine Team. Chief Freeman serves as a Logistics Team Manager with FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Team Virginia Task Force 2.
Chief Freeman received his Associates Degree in Fire Science from Tidewater Community College and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Safety with a focus on Fire Science from Columbia Southern University.
Battalion Chief Patrick Seigh
has served the Virginia Beach Fire Department since September 1985. Battalion Chief Seigh has served in a variety of assignments within the department. He has been a member of the Special Operations Division Technical Rescue Team, Tidewater Regional Technical Rescue Team and is currently assigned as Program Manager and Task Force Leader of the FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Team VA-TF 2. He has also served on the FEMA US&R Grants Workgroup and recently appointed as the Finance /Administration Functional Group Leader within the FEMA Advisory Organization.
Battalion Chief Seigh holds an Associate Degree in Mining Technology from Penn State University and an Associate Degree in Fire Science from Westmoreland County Community College. He is also an affiliated member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs.
