The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) provides a newsletter, Virginia Beach Emergency Management Update, to the organization’s members and the public regarding ongoing issues within the City, State, region, and federal emergency management organizations.
The Office of Emergency Management has developed various publications, available in adobe format, to further support the public’s emergency preparedness and awareness. The Emergency Operations Plan - Abstract summarizes the City’s structure and planned response to an emergency and was designed for internal familiarization and public information.
