The Court has SMART Board interactive whiteboards available for use in hearings and during trials. The Smart board is, essentially, a large display mounted to the courtroom wall that can be used as a monitor or as an interactive whiteboard with the courts smart notebook software. We currently have two VGA connectors for connecting your laptop to display on our board. If you are using an Apple MAC computer or another computer that does not have a VGA port, you will need to provide the adapter to connect it to our VGA cable.
The Smart board can be used:
•To show PowerPoint presentations from your laptop
•To display videos from your laptop
•To show digital photographs and images (from either your laptop or our doc camera)
•To annotate diagrams
•As a digital whiteboard/chalkboard via our pc using smart notebook
To SCHEDULE TRAINING FOR THE SMARTBOARD
for an upcoming trial, please send me an email at Cheryl Flannagan email@example.com
. Please try and schedule at least a week in advance. If you want to play a DVD on our equipment, please come in and make sure it plays. Some videos will not play on our equipment if we don't have the software that file type requires. If you are using your own laptop to play it and you have tested it out then you don't need to come in if you don't want. If you wait until the day before or day of trial, we may not be able to assist you. If your case comes off, or you no longer wish to come in for training, please email to let me know as soon as possible. Thank you. If you need any additional information feel free to contact Cheryl Flannagan by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
or phone at 385-4367.
