Virginia Beach Television (VBTV) is managed by Multimedia Services, a division of the Department of Communications and Information Technology (ComIT). Cox channel 46; Verizon channel 46: a 24-hour a day, seven days a week text messaging system that includes city and school division information, calendars of events, and more. The audio source behind this channel is NOAA weather radio, which provides up-to-the-minute weather reports and advisories direct from the National Weather Service.
Cox channel 47; Verizon channel 47: brings you the Virginia Beach City Public School Board meetings, both live and recablecasts, GED and continuing education series, Classic Arts programming and "Frontline Firefighter."
Cox channel 48; Verizon channel 45: are the flagship programming channels that provide information on city and school services, events, public meetings, and a variety of educational programming for all members of your family.
