If you are a Virginia Beach resident that is sixty-five (65) years of age or older, you are permitted to park in the metered spaces without depositing coins in the area commonly known as Rudee Inlet Loop Wayside, located in the parking lot underneath the General Booth Boulevard Bridge accessible from the Rudee Inlet Loop.
You must first obtain a parking permit issued by any one of the four City Treasurer Offices by presenting verification of your Virginia Beach residency and your age. The cost of the permit is $2.00. The permit is to be placed on the front bumper of the vehicle (driver's side) on the upper surface and visible from a standing position.
