The Juvenile Probation Department, Court Services Unit, provides short term, intensive family and marriage counseling, as well as counseling for runaways, truants and victims of spousal abuse. The Department also processes petitions against juveniles including support, custody, visitation and certain adoption petitions. The Department also screens for placement of juveniles who are arrested and taken into custody.
