The City Council has established an eight-member Process Improvement Steering Committee (PISC) to gather information regarding a broad range of issues which include:
- Improve processes;
- Improve communications within the various aspects of City government and between the City government and the people it serves; and
- Develop contingency plans to address a variety of situations that could adversely affect our citizens.
The committee shall serve in an advisory capacity to City Council. It is not a policy making body. The function of the committee will be to work in harmony with City Council and City management to identify problems and barriers that may have negative impact on City operations, efficiency and effectiveness and facilitate solutions.
