The Energy Advisory Committee shall act as an advisory committee to City Council. The Committee shall:
- Work with City staff and industry representatives to implement and track the City's progress on meeting the recommendations of the Mayor's Alternative Energy Task Force and advise City Council on an annual basis of that progress; provided, however, that no action shall be taken with respect to the remaining four recommendations specifically identified by City Council in its January 25, 2011 ordinance until and unless City Council specifically authorizes further action on those terms;
- Track federal, state and local emergency policies that may impact the City;
- Conduct Energy SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) Analysis for the City;
- Recommend to City Council an overall energy organization administration structure for the City; and
- Perform other such tasks as may be assigned by City Council
