Take a stroll through the history and folklore of the herbs our foremothers grew. Herbs were an important part of the labor of living, but also offered a pleasant escape from the everyday grind. Hear the story of Rosemary's wild ride, the Scarlet O'Hara herb, and why young men wanted to use "lad's love." The presenter is Carol Chewning. Registration is required. Stop in or call the library at 385-7790 to register.
