- Customize --- Set map view preferences
- Pan --- Move the map view around to show maps outside the current
view
- Reload --- Refresh the current map view
- Print --- Page Setup and Print
- Page Setup --- Set up how you would like the maps to be printed
(map title, legend, scale bar and north arrow and so on)
- Print --- Print the current map view
- Copy --- Copy and As Url
- Copy --- Copy the current map view to the clipboard
- As Url --- Copy the current map view as Url address
- Zoom --- Zoom, Goto, Width, Scale, Selected, Previous, Out, Unzoom
- Zoom --- Zoom in to view the map in more details

Customize
Map Layout & Set Preferences

To Customize and Set your preferences:
- Right click on the map, and then choose Customize from the pop-up
menu to display the Preferences dialogue box.
- In the Map Units box [1], choose USA Units to display distance in feet/miles,
or choose Metric to display distances in meters/kilometers.
- In the Selection Mode box [2], select selection mode to specify whether
Autodesk MapGuide selects features by centroid or by intersection. The
selection mode applies to the Select Radius, Select Polygon, and Select
Within commands, as well as to selections made using the mouse to drag
rectangles around features.
- In the Checkbox of Display mouse position [3], check or uncheck the Checkbox
to turn on or turn off the mouse coordinate position
- In the Checkbox of Display Map Scale [4], check or uncheck the Checkbox
to turn on or turn off the scale bar
- In the Units box [5], choose either Latitude, Longitude or the Mapping
Coordinate System
- In the Checkbox of Display Map Width [6], check or uncheck the Checkbox
to turn on or turn off Map Display Area bar
- Click OK to accept the new preferences

Layers and Legends Help

- The Checkbox for Each Map Layer
Check or Uncheck the checkbox in front of each map layer name to turn
on or turn off that map layer
- Right-Click of Each Map Layer
- Rebuild --- Reload the individual map layer
- Expand --- Expand to show map legends
- Collapse --- Hide map legend for the specified map layer
