He is elected every four years and serves you in  the capacity of City Treasurer at your will.

• In Building 1 at the Courthouse (2401 Courthouse Drive)
• At 19th and Arctic, Oceanfront
• In the Haygood Shopping plaza
• In the Fairfield Shopping plaza

• Pursuing all delinquent taxes and accounts
• The collection of outstanding invoices for City departments
• State and Estimated State collections
• Trustee Tax enforcement
• Issuing animal licenses

The Treasurer is the custodian of all public monies of the City and the primary purpose of the division is to maximize the collection of revenues on behalf of the City in a timely and efficient manner. The Treasurer is also responsile to maximize return for all public funds invested by his office. The overall functions of the office are, to a great extent, mandated by State and local legislation and the ability to carry out these mandates is limited by the availability of manpower and equipment. In short, it is the mission of the Office of the Treasurer to ensure economic vitality by the collection of revenue for the City and to support the mission of all other departments.
